Amanda Maciuba: Amanda is an interdisciplinary artist whose work combines printmaking, drawing, installation, book arts, and video art. Her work is  concerned with the landscapes, communities, development practices and environmental concerns prevalent throughout the Midwest. By reacting directly to the landscapes and environments she is currently living in, her work examines and critiques place.

A native of the Buffalo, NY area, Amanda graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in Visual Studies. She completed a Masters of Fine Arts in Printmaking with a minor in Intermedia from the University of Iowa in 2015. She has been a resident artist at the Iowa Lakeside Laboratory, the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, and the Lawrence Arts Center in Lawrence, Kansas. Currently, she teaches printmaking and foundations classes in the Kansas City/Northeast Kansas area. You may view her work at
